I drew and colored a couple pages for an upcoming comic book called the Midnightmen. The Midnightmen are a team of secret agents on a undercover mission at the beginning of WWII.
My pages are a bio for one of the team members named Micah. He’s a big purple guy who has psychic powers. If you want to see the end comic click here.
Ok, so here is my progress. Mostly bringing up the level of detail, hardening edges and developing some of the areas I didn’t get to before, like the neck.
I started another Mudbox modeling class over at Glendale Community College. I plan to post my progress here. GCC is a really good place to take computer arts classes.

As it turns out police mug shots make great reference for CG modeling because there is usually a clear front and side view. I was thinking of country stars in jail and so the character is loosely based on a young Merle Haggard and I was thinking of Mayberry for the jail cell.

This was a really fun one. Sopelana on deviant art posted a drawing of someone in a spacesuit standing on a little moon. He left the helmet empty so that people could go in and draw whatever they liked inside. I decided to make mine a little fish-man astronaut. The other little fish swims around in there and gives him grief.
